Today, social media is a norm for businesses to survive. Without it, improvement is extremely difficult to achieve. This is why being engaged on social media platforms is a necessity for companies – big or small. However, it should not be limited to being present on multiple platforms alone. Each profile should be active and is driven by purpose, along with having a good connection with your audience. Last, you should know exactly who your audiences are, what they like and hate, and when to post to drive more engagement.
This is very tricky for newly starting companies as they’re still unaware when to post. Luckily, a report published on Entrepreneur shows these numbers:
This data has been taken from 17.5 million social media posts from 17,737 brands. Thus, you can be sure that you’ll gain something out of it if you give it a try.
As the report shows, the best times to post on Facebook should be at 8 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) every Thursday, while at 5 p.m., tweets work best – and 7 p.m. on a Friday for Instagram. During these times, you will have a higher click rate, and more likes, comments, and shares.
Every Niche Is Different on Social Media
Even with this very reliable data, it should still be understood that it doesn’t work 100% of the time. It is still a better option to study your niche rigorously to know when it would be the best time to post. Give yourself a week or a month to observe and analyze the results. If you think it isn’t accurate on your end, then try what you think works best from your observations. Just rely on your data as much as possible for better accuracy. Remember, every industry works differently, so there is no easy way on this one but to try and try.
